The pet niche has long been a staple in the American culture.  The one area that gets the most attention for first time pet owners, like small children, is fish.  Fish are easy to take care of, require minimal food and exercise, yet teach a small level of responsibility to growing children.  In a recent niche marketing video, a niche marketer revealed that he was making hundreds of dollars a month in the betta fish area.  Betta fish are blue or multicolored goldfish.  The betta fish micro niche site is a classic example of taking a large healthy economic area, like fish and aquariums, and segmenting it down into a micro niche, like betta fish.

The Internet Time Machine software recently picked up a growing demand term known as "bearded dragon diet" on one of its filters.  At first we had it categorized as a diet or health niche, but after further investigating, it turns out to be one of the hottest pet niches in the market.

A bearded dragon is a small lizard from Australia.  The dragon has such a strong following that there are over 60 phrases in the ITM software showing growing demand with low supply.   This represents a great chance for someone to take over the young, but growing, niche of bearded dragons.

Take a look at this video to see how the bearded dragon fairs against other pet niches like betta fish and iguanas.  If you are looking for a strong pet marketing niche that is showing growth with low supply, then this is one niche to start doing some homework on.
