The Internet marketing space is full of new niches that develop as technology advances. One of those niches is the downloadable movie and song space.  This niche has major players in it, like Apple with ITunes and Netflix, but within that niche there is a growing trend for one particular foreign film genre that has marketers excited. The key phrase that set off are marketing alert was "bollywood hindi movie download". 

If you are not familiar with this phrase, Bollywood is Indian's version of Hollywood.  As Indian's culture has spread to the West,, the demand for Indian music, video, and dance has jumped exponentially.  Hindi, is term that refers to the Hindu religion and is often used in search engines to replace the word "bollywood".

The Internet marketing alert that hit our email boxes came from the trends analytics software at the Internet Time Machine.  We had the same phrase show up in our "Most Recent Mentions" as well as our longer term trend analysis area, "Core ITM Trends."  This is unusual in text analytics as it shows a very popular one or two day subject coinciding with a longer term area of interest.  Sometimes this is caused by a news event. For example, you could have a long term niche growing in "rubber baseball bats" and then if President Obama was using one to play with his dog, you would see it also appear suddenly in "Most Recent Mentions".

In this case, we did not have a news event trigger this event.  It is just a showing of how popular the demand for Indian music, video, and culture is right now.  (by the way, if you have never had Chicken Tickki Marsala, it is one of the best food dishes you will ever try!)
