For the second time in a few short days, we found another hot weight loss niche here at The Internet Time Machine. We noticed a trend in healing remedies and decided to check it out to see what all of the talk was about.
The first thing we noticed is that healing remedies is a very broad term and when searching for it in Google, there are a good deal of PPC and organic results for this short tail keyword. However, the organic and PPC results were not specific to any one particular area of healing remedies; rather they are spread across the board and deal with health, weight loss and illness cures to name a few. In the past few weeks, we have talked a lot about using long tail key phrases, so we decided to go into the ITM software to see what it dug up in this niche area.
Using the core trends analysis in The Internet Time Machine’s software interface, we entered healing remedies into the box to see what longer tail key phrases it might find. The number two result is weight loss remedies, which is a very mature niche with an SEO-ST score of 10. Going over the Google, we searched for these keywords and what we found was a fair amount of PPC results, but here is something to consider: With as hot as the weight loss and healing industries are, a fair amount of PPC just doesn’t cut it and there is definitely room in this niche to expand.
Hopping over to the Google Adwords tool, we wanted to research this a little further to see if weight loss remedies is a niche worth getting into and here is what we found:
· There are around 20,000 broad searches for this niche every month.
· A PPC account using long tail key phrases that focus around weight loss remedies would cost around six cents per click! This is very cheap, especially in such a competitive online market like weight loss.
· There is also a good deal or organic space available as well. The blogs and information that Google displays on the front page are not very specific or content driven. It would be quite easy to rank well by setting up a blog or doing some article marketing with these long tail key phrases.
One could easily take the long tail phrases that were found in the Google Adwords tool and write a few articles on each of the phrases in order to gain organic ground with blogging or article marketing. Remember, no one invests in weight loss when it comes to Internet marketing anymore because they figure it is a niche that they cannot get into due to the competition.
