The http://www.TheInternetTimeMachine.com is a proud supporter of Dave Cummings and his quest to make 1,000,000 free throws in order to  raise $1,000,000 for US Veterans with head injuries coming back from overseas.

If you haven't  heard of Dave Cummings and his http://www.hoopsforheroes.com campaign it is truely inspirational.  Dave was inspired during President's Obama's inauguration speech that he took the "call to action" seriously.  He, admittedly, isn't very good at many things so he just decided to go out and make 1,000,000 free throws on the basketball court to try and raise $1,000,000 for US Veterans returning from overseas with head injuries. He video tapes every "made" attempt and puts it up on his website.  No fluffy, no fancy ad campaign - Just a man wanting to do something for the US Veterans and thought of something he could do to maybe raise awareness and funds.

This is the type of thinking that makes great things happen in the world, whether in business or in personal lives.  Dave stands for the "possiblity" that he can hit 1,000,000 free throws and raise $1,000,000 dollars for US Veterans, and we support him whole heartedly.

If you are interested in Dave's story, he was just interviewed by Doug Tribou, one of NPR's finest and up and coming reporters, about his project here http://www.onlyagame.org/2010/01/hoops-for-heroes/

I know we all want our content Tweeted and posted on Facebook, but I hope everyone who reads this supports Dave's mission and just takes a second to Tweet it or Facebook it, or whatever you can do to help our Veterans with head trama and to support Dave.
